Terms of Use

Last updated 2 October 2026 · version 2026-10-02.2

1. Who we are and who can use Taara

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL NAME] ([BUSINESS FORM (SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP / LLP / PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANY)]), [PRINCIPAL ADDRESS] ("we", "us"), who run Taara. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy, which explains what Taara does with your data.

2. What Taara is

3. AI-generated content

Readings and replies are written by an AI service. They can be wrong, incomplete or unexpected, and similar text may be given to other people. Each reading and reply is labelled "AI-generated" in the app. Read them as prompts for reflection. If something reads wrong or harmful, tap Report under it: that sends a complaint about it to us (see section 9).

5. Acceptable use

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you enter and write in Taara. You allow us to store it and to send it to the AI provider named in the Privacy Policy so that Taara can produce your readings and replies.

7. Plans, payment and cancellation

Daily AI limits

To keep the service working and its costs in check, each account has a daily limit on AI requests (by default 40 a day on Free and 300 a day on Pro), and the whole service has a daily limit too. The limits reset at midnight India time. When a limit is reached, Taara says so; readings it has already written stay readable.

8. Ending your use

9. Complaints

Our Grievance Officer is [GRIEVANCE OFFICER NAME], [DESIGNATION] ([GRIEVANCE EMAIL], [GRIEVANCE PHONE]). Use the complaint form on the Contact page or in Settings > Help & legal. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours (the form does it on screen at once, with a ticket number and a copy of your complaint), aim to resolve it within 7 days, and resolve it at the latest within 30 days.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Taara is provided for reflection and entertainment as described in section 2. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 or other law that cannot be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction, without taking away your right to use a consumer commission or court where the law allows you to.

12. Changes and contact

Each version of these terms has a version number; this one is 2026-10-02.2. When they change, Taara asks you to read and agree to the new version before you continue.
